"Yarn bombing kniffiti, urban knitting or graffiti knitting is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fiber rather than paint or chalk."

Local organizations came together to create more than 471 squares that were crocheted and knitted using 43,000 yards of yarn taking more than 1500 hours.
